Soooo excited!!! New toy coming tomorrow!

So I am awaiting the arrival of my newest toy called The Gypsy. I was so inspired by a lady named Robyn whom I saw on youtube.com demoing the Gypsy. Amazing. Here is the video I watched which made me want one and I found one for almost half the price at a website called www.papercraftingpro.com. They are a wholesale website that for $10/mo you can use. They do give you a 2 day free trial and you are able to order anything and then cancel your account if it is something you will not use. I thought they had a ton of great deals. Check them out.

www.mypinkstamper.com is another great page and she can be seen on youtube demonstrating a ton of things. She is super awesome.

Well I am awaiting mine. It is supposed to come in the mail tomorrow, unfortunately I have to wait to use it until after Tuesday because I have a midterm in my sociology of law class on Tuesday so I have to study, study, study.

Well enjoy the videos. She has done some great lessons and her website is cute. Plus it's pink so you have to love it.

MIA....my life as I know it

So I have been MIA from here lately due to my uber busy work and school schedule. I have been working until the sun goes down and leaving my house before the sun rises. No fun!

I am excited for the weekend to be here. I have moved some of my card making supplies to my new place and get to move the rest this weekend. I am also attending information day at a local law school to see if I have any hope of getting in. Keep your fingers crossed. After that I get to go to Macy's as a VIP and be taught by MAC makeup professionals about three new makeup looks one cane try. YEAH!!!

I am almost back at the weight I was before I went on my super fun vacation so that is a positive thing. I am getting ready to go to class for Ancient World History discussion. It is actually not a bad class. Just read a book called "Things Fall Apart" and " Shen Fu: Six Records of A Floating Life." The first book was actually good but the second was confusing and not in chronological order, still a decent read. And no an alien has not invaded me and taken over my brain.

Well better get back to work. Hopefully I can leave before the Sun does and take the doggies for a walk. Oh and tonight is date night for me and my honey. We are going to go see the movie Date Night. I can't wait. I saw the actors on Oprah and actually watched the episode twice because it cracked me up. Can't wait, I need a good laugh. Well at least something to laugh at other than myself. Haha.

Oh below is a pic of the super cute pics I bought while shopping with Grams on my vaca. We went to a cute store called "Feather Your Nest" in Brookings, OR. So now these hang in my bedroom on the wall.

Frustrated

Ok so I am trying to figure out how to get picture albums on this blog but can only see how to post pictures. Geeze. Well it is Saturday and I have already washed dishes, made a shopping list and am enjoying my coffee today.

I am going to work on school stuff today, shop a bit (for Easter and Easter dinner) and then try and get some of my scrapbook stuff moved over from my previous house.

I want to make some cards sooo bad with all of the fun things I bought while I was in Oregon visiting my Grams. She lives in Brookings and there is the most darling scrapbook/stamping/paper craft shop there. It is called Creating Lasting Memories. If you ever go tot Brookings, OR you must stop by. The owner is Marjorie and she is just the sweetest person.

Here are some pictures from my last visit. First I stopped at my mom's in Scottsburg aka The Sticks. LOL. Had so much fun there. Then went to my Grams.

Newbie here!

I am taking a stab at creating a blog and sharing it with the world. I want to share my passion for paper crafts and want to get ideas from others also. So here I am...

A little about me!

I am a full time project manager for a state run system and I also attend UC Davis full time. I am getting my BA in sociology and then hoping I am able to get into law school.

In my free time (which is very rare) I go visit my family in Oregon and do paper crafts. I love stamping and making cards and ATC's. I share this passion with my Grams who is extremely talented. I will show some of her work here and there.

I have 2 chihuahuas who are my life and am in a somewhat complicated but loving relationship.

Well that is all I can think of for now.

Some randomness...i love peanut butter, diet dr. pepper, hot dogs and champagne and sleeping. My favorite season is fall and my favorite color is pink.

Hmm well ciao for now.
